(1) The Government of Nepal shall implement the following social security programs with the contribution of the disabled person or free of charge in specified cases to enable the disabled person to live independently and independently in the society:-
(a) To develop community housing facilities with security and health services,
(b) To provide accommodation for destitute children and disabled persons abandoned by their families,
(c) to provide life insurance, health insurance and accident insurance,
(d) To provide medicines and necessary auxiliary materials,
(e) To provide unemployment allowance, living allowance and old age allowance on the prescribed basis,
(f) to provide allowances for assistants of disabled persons under specified conditions,
(g) To assist in the development and use of universal design for the development of persons with disabilities. Also refers to assistive devices used for certain categories of persons with disabilities.
(h) To provide other service facilities as specified.
(2) While implementing the program according to sub-section (1), the diversity of disabilities, gender, age, economic and social conditions will be the basis.
